I-Day arrangements reviewed in Poonch

Poonch :AUGUST 11: Additional District Development Commissioner, Abdul Sattaron Thursday chaired a meeting of the line departments to review arrangements for the Independence Day- 2022 celebrations, here at DakBunglowPoonch.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr.BasharatHussain; DFO, Suresh Manda; General Manager DIC, Dr.ZakirHussain; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, ZaheerAjmedKaifi; CEO PDA, Dr.Tanveer Khan; Assistant Commissioner Development, AbidHussain Shah; Principal Government Degree College Poonch, Prof. MusarratHussain Shah; DYSP Head Qtr., Nawaz Ahmed; Head Qtr Assistant ( Tehsildar), Jahangir Hussain; Commentator, PardeepKhanna; CEO Education, Bishamber Das; Tehsildar Haveli, Anjum Bashir Khan Khattak; DYSSO, Mohammad Qasim; XEN PWD POONCH, XEN PDD, IrshadHussain; XEN PHE, MuneerHussain; CEO Municipality, MushtaqHussain, and others attended the meeting.
The ADDC reviewed the necessary preparations, security arrangements, Barricading, decoration, fault free public address system, seating arrangement, fire safety arrangement, cultural programme, parade preparations etc for Independence Day celebrations.
The concerned departments were asked to make the arrangements well in time for the smooth and hassle free celebration of the National Event.
The meeting was informed that the main function will be held at sports stadium Poonch, where the Chief Guest will unfurl the National Flag and take salute at the march past to be presented by different contingents.
Reviewing the security arrangements, the ADC asked for tight security in and around the main venue. The ADC gave directions to the concerned officers to maintain cleanliness in and around the venue.
He also directed health care arrangements at the venue.
The SDMs were directed to make similar kinds of arrangements in blocks and Tehsils. It was informed that Full Dress Rehearsal shall take place on August 13.
The Information Department was asked to make arrangements for a fault free Public Address System and media coverage of the event. The Celebration will begin with playing of Shehnai by the Information Department.
