I-Day arrangements finalized at Doda

Doda : Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Doda, Dr Ravi Kumar Bharti on Wednesday chaired a meeting of officers to finalize the arrangements for the Independence Day- 2022 celebration, here at Mini meeting Hall of DC Office Complex Doda.
During the meeting, threadbare discussions were held regarding hoisting of tricolour, security arrangements, traffic, security passes, seating arrangements, decoration, Shehnai vadan, commentators, illumination of offices, PAS, Power and water supply, sanitation, medicare facilities, invitation cards, cultural activities, display of tableaus, fire tenders etc.
It was informed that the main function of the celebrations will be held at Sports Stadium Doda, where the chief guest would unfurl the National Flag at 8:55 AM, followed by inspection of the parade.
“The march-past will be presented by contingents of J&K Police, IRP 5th BN, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, NCC ( Sr and Jr wing), school children as per the past practices. Besides, a colorful cultural programme will also be held on the occasion” the meeting was told.
Sensitizing officers about their role and responsibility, the ADC Doda instructed them to make foolproof arrangements in advance for smooth conduct of the celebrations at the District Headquarter, Sub divisional Headquarters and in all Tehsils and Blocks of the District Doda.
Among others the meeting was attended by CEO Doda, CAHO Doda, DIO DIPR Doda, District Immunization officer Doda, Tehsildar Doda, BDO Kastigarh, Dy SP traffic Doda, Ex En PWD, Ex En Jal Shakti, Ex En JPDCL, Treasury officer Bhaderwah, AO DC office, Cultural Officer Doda, Representatives of Fire Services, Sports department, Floriculture department, MC Doda and JKPCC.
