Shopian : Mission VatsalyaShopian in collaboration with UNICEF Saturday organised a one day training programme of Block Level Child Protection Committee (BLCPC) on the Juvenile justice Act-2015, POCSO Act- 2012 and various child protection services at Govt Degree College (GDC) Shopian.
The theme of the programme was ‘Procedures about children in need of care and children in conflict with law”.
The Resource Person of the programme was Sr Advocate, Altaf Khan of High Court Srinagar.
Block Medical Officers, Block Development Officers, Zonal Educational officers, Supervisors of ICDS Department, Members of Human Welfare Voluntary Organization, Department of VatsalyaShopian, students, Employees of GDC Shopian and other responsible citizens, besides, various social groups were present on the occasion.
