DC Reasi chairs Block Diwas meeting at PanchayatKundorian-Katra

DM also reviews progress of developmental projects

Reasi : Deputy Commissioner Reasi, BabilaRakwalon Wednesday visited PanchyatKandorian of block Katra and conducted a public grievances redressal camp under the weekly block diwas program and assed the response of the public towards various developmental initiatives being implemented by the administration.
The Deputy Commissioner listened to the grievances of the PRIs and public and issued on spot directions to the concerned quarters for early disposal of the same.
The camp was attended by ADDC JyotiSalathia; ACD AnirudhRai, PO,ICDS, ACP, CEO KDA, CEO,CHO, CAHO, DSHO, LMO besides other district officers along with PRIs , BDOs, Sarpanchs and Panchs.
The PRIs and Public demanded immediate solution to unhygienic conditions in KundrorianPanchayat due to dumping of waste, water connections to uncovered households in the Panchayat, renovation of Government Middle School building at Natalie village of KundrorianPanchayat, deployment of Mali for maintenance of park near VishwakarmaMandir, concrete measures to resolve the shortage of water in ArliHansaliVillage and restoration of old Bowli – the only source of water for population of the village.
After listening to Public grievances, the DC addressed the majority of issues on the spot and motivated the public to avail the benefits of different flagship government schemes meant for them.
Several issues of Water, Power, Road, Transport, Ration, Nutrition, Education and Health were resolved on the spot after face to face deliberation with District Officers. The DDC fixed a timeline for resolution of remaining issues.
The DC also reviewed the progress of development works and directed the concerned authorities to complete the ongoing developmental projects in a stipulated time frame.
The DC emphasized that all the Schemes are being implemented through Online mode and asked people to take the benefit of Online Services. She also requested the general public to participate in the HarGharTringa campaign.
At the end, the PRIs and locals expressed gratitude to DC Reasi for organizing public Darbar and listening to their long pending Grievances.
