Arrangements reviewed for celebration of “Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya” in Kulgam

Kulgam : The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din-Bhat Thursday convened a meeting of officers to finalize arrangements for the celebration of Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya in the district.
During the meeting, it was informed that a series of activities will be held to showcase the achievements made in the power sector in the last 75 years (Ujjwal Bharat Ujjwal Bhavishya Program) under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Two sites were selected for the events in this district where these celebrations will be held on July 25 and 27.
During the programme Nukkad Nataks, movies and cultural programmes will be organised to showcase the achievements in the sector.
The Deputy Commissioner urged upon the officers and concerned quarters to work in close coordination for organizing these events smoothly.
The Meeting was attended by ADC, Executive Engineer KPDCL Kulgam ACD, DIO NIC, Senior Manager (HR) NHPC-HP Uri, AEEs from various wings of KPDCL and other concerned officials.
