Reasi : Deputy Commissioner, Reasi Babila Rakwal Thursday reviewed preparations for celebration of Digital Week, being celebrated across J&K from July 25th to July 27th 2022.
Discussing the activities in connection with the Digital Week celebration, the Div Com said that the J&K Government has launched digital services for ease of the public and to bring transparency in delivery of services to the citizens.
Pertinently, J&K has ranked first amongst all UTs in the National e-Service Delivery Assessment on both the state portal and the services portal by the DARPG, Government of India 2021.
The DC informed that during the week-long celebration the Citizens would be imparted awareness about online services like Aap Ki Zameen Aap Ki Nigrani, Aap ka Mobile Hamara Daftar (UMANG), e-UNNAT, DigiLocker etc.
All District Officers were directed to activate their online services and to promote them by organising massive campaigns in coordination with district administration.
The DC suggested starting information, education and communication services. Specific instructions were given to the Rural Development Department to engage artists to spread awareness about the online services through wall paintings at block and Panchayat levels.
The DC reiterated that the e-services has greatly benefited the public and brought transparency in the working of public offices.
The DC instructed all the District Officers to set up their departmental stalls and generate awareness among the masses regarding the online services being provided by them.
Among others, ADDC Jyoti Salathia, CPO Sunita Kanchan, CEO KDA Preeti Sharma, ACR, DySP DAR, CHO, CAHO, DTO, LMO, DSWO, DPO, Tehsildar Bhomag besides other district officers.
