DC Kathua inspects ongoing works, government offices in remote block Lohai Malhar

Kathua :Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Rahul Pandey Wednesday inspected ongoing development projects and working of government offices in far off Lohai Malhar Tehsil.
ADC Billawar, Sandesh Kumar Sharma; CPO Kathua, Uttam Singh; CMO, Dr Rakesh Mangotra; XEN PWD Basohli Bharat Gupta; XEN PMGSY and other concerned officers accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
The DC inspected progress of work on PMGSY Macchedi-Drabber and Mahan-Banjal roads and 100 bedded Girls hostel at Government High School Machhedi, additional class rooms at Government High School Nathi and Government Higher Secondary School Badnota.
During the inspection of offices, the Deputy Commissioner directed officers to improve functioning and public service delivery. He directed the staff to remain available for addressing the problems and grievances of the public. He further asked to ensure the quality disposal of public grievances.
The DC also visited Primary Health Centre Machhedi. The CMO was asked to ensure round the clock medical facilities to cater to medical emergencies.
Earlier, the DC along with DDC member Nagrota Gujjroo, DFO Billawar and other officers took part in Van Mahotsava Plantation Drive conducted under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava.
