DC Poonch suspends 2-Absent employees Of RSSD Hospital

Poonch : Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet on Tuesday suspended two absentee health department employees during late evening surprise inspection of Raja Sukhdev Singh District Hospital.
The DC inspected Emergency Wing, Operation Theater, Surgical Wards, Gynae Wards, Medicine Wards, Pediatric, Geriatrics & Orthopedic Wards and Interacted with the patients, attendants, staff & Medical Superintendent Dr. Zulfqar Ahmed. He also inspected Jan Aushadhi medical store.
While checking the attendance of the staff, 2 Junior Staff Nurses namely Roomi Malik and Samina Farooq were found unauthorizedly absent from duty. The Deputy Commissioner placed both the employees under suspension and asked the Hospital authorities to withhold their salary.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Hospital Canteen & directed the owner to display the Rate list of Food items being served to the people. He directed the Hospital administration to display the Duty roaster of doctors prominently for better supervision & staff monitoring in the future.
He asked the hospital administration to provide best and qualitative healthcare facilities to the patients and maintain hygienic conditions inside and outside the Hospital.
