Srinagar: The selected Finance Accounts Assistant (FAA) candidates on Thursday staged protest in Srinagar city, over ordering probe and rumours of scrapping recruitment process of Finance Accounts Assistant (FAA).

Amid rain, large number of FAA selected candidates from different parts of Kashmir valley assembled at Press Enclave Srinagar, and were demanding justice in their favour.

Saima Khaliq, one of protesting candidates has said that she is an agriculture science graduate, and had worked hard to get govt job, after preparing for long time.

She said that she started preparing for SSB exams in January 2021, after cutting herself off from everyone, and was happy after merit list appeared.

“Following hardwork, our hope arisen after merit list of Finance Accounts Assistant (FAA) was released by JKSSB, but nothing happened later,” Saima told reporters on the sidelines of protest rally.

Another candidate said that “not all are scammers, & don’t make fun of meritorious candidates.” He said that if 10% candidates are fraud, rest of the 90% candidates should not suffer

One of the candidates has said that, while preparing for JKSSB exam, they even missed marriage and other important occasions, and had worked hard to come in merit list.

The candidates while chanting slogans have demanded justice in their favour, at the earliest.
