Ramban: DDC Chairperson reviews projects for fiscal year 2022-23

Ramban :Chairperson, District Development Council Ramban, Dr Shamshad Shan convened a meeting of PRIs and officers of line departments to review progress on tendering and estimation of projects for fiscal year 2022-23 and achievements made by them under District Capex Budget 2021-22 in block headquarter Sangaldan and GundiDharm.
During the meeting held at Sangaldan, detailed discussion was held on achievements registered under District Capex Plan, 2021-22 including the physical status of projects besides reviewing estimation of projects for in the current year to be executed in block Sangaldan and GundiDharam.
BDC Chairperson, GundiDharam, Javed Ahmed Manhas, DDC Councillor, Sakhi Mohd, BDO and other concerned officers, PRIs and general public were present in the meeting.
The public also highlighted their demands including pending instalments of PMAY, Awas Plus, clearance of liabilities of 2017-18 and 2018-19 under the 14th FC funds.
While responding to the demands, the Chairperson assured people that the matter would be taken up with higher authority besides informing them that the liabilities of 2017-18 and 2018-19 under 14th FC have already been taken up with higher authority.
Besides reviewing the developmental works, the DDC Chairperson also directed officers of executing departments to expedite the tendering process for all the approved works to complete them at the earliest. She impressed upon the officers to work in a coordinated manner with line departments in consultation with PRIs.
The Chairperson also took stock of the availability of essential services and supplies for the general public given the upcoming Eid festival.

To achieve this goal, the party’s moves have to be marked by collectivism and better coordination at all levels,” he said while interacting with party functionaries.
