Police facilitate PCPG meeting in Budgam

B’gam : As a part of public outreach programme, Police in Budgam facilitated a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Post Pakherpora.
According to a police statement, the meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Charar-e-Shareef and was attended by large number of respectable citizens, representatives of various Masjids, Mohalla committees, Trade and Transport Unions of the area.
During the meeting, the participants raised various issues of Public importance. The chairing officer redressed some of the issues pertaining to the police on spot and assured them that the grievances pertaining to other departments will be taken up with concerned authorities for early redressal.
Participants were advised to maintain communal harmony among the society, participants assured of keeping peace and harmony in the area.
The participants in the meeting assured their full cooperation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
