DC Rajouri distributes motorised tricycles among specially-abled persons

Rajouri :Deputy Commissioner, VikasKundal Wednesday distributed motorised tricycles among ten specially-abled persons.
It is pertinent to mention here that a grand motorised tricycles distribution ceremony was organised Wednesday at Raj Bhavan Srinagar where the Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha distributed the motorised tri-cycles among the beneficiaries and district administration Rajouri became a part of this event.
Among others, CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; District Social Welfare Officer, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt and TSWO, Rahul Puri were present during the event.
While interacting with the beneficiaries, DC said that the District Administration is extending special care and assistance to the specially-abled persons and a number of measures are being taken for their welfare.
He asked the concerned officer from the Social Welfare Department to educate the specially-abled persons about various schemes and programmes being launched for their wellbeing and to motivate them to avail the benefits of the same.
