Theft case solved, stolen scooties recovered: Police

Jammu : Police on Wednesday said that it has solved theft case in Jammu and also recovered stolen scooties.
According to a police statement, a written complaint was lodged at PS Miran Sahib by a person namely Chandan Dogra R/o Krishna Nagar Basti Teh. R.S.Pura Jammu regarding theft of his scooty near Krishna Nagar Miran Sahib area under the jurisdiction of PS Miran Sahib.
Stating that after this special police teams of Miran Sahib under the supervision of SDPO R.S Pura Surinder Singh were constituted and the team led by SHO P/S Miran Sahib Insp. ZaheerMushtaq did strenuous efforts and by connecting various leads generated from CCTV footages finally rounded up a suspect person later identified as Sunny Bali S/o MadanLal Bali R/o Jagti A/PKotli Charkan for cross examination.
Police further said that on his disclosure stolen scooty bearing Registration No. JK02BF1044 was recovered from his possession and 3 more stolen scooties bearing Registration Nos. JK02BD2763, JK02BS1519 and one scooty without number plate were also recovered from different places of the Jammu district.
In the concluding para of it’s statement police said that the overall arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SP Rural Ramnesh Gupta and Further investigation of the case is going on.
