K’gam:The first Jatha (group) of Amarnath yatries were warmly welcomed Wednesday upon their arrival at Nayug Tunnel, Qazigund by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din-Bhat and other officers.
The yatries were also welcomed by DIG South, Abdul Jabbar, SSP Kulgam, Dr. GV Sandeep, PRI members and locals.
Meanwhile, elaborate arrangements have been put in place to provide hassle-free services to the yatries at all levels and District Administration Kulgam has also put in efforts to ensure foolproof arrangements for visiting yatries.
