Editor MOK G H Kaloo bereaved, political parties, activists, journalist bodies and other express sympathy with family

Srinagar: Political parties, activists, and journalists bodies across the valley Saturday expressed grief over the demise of wife of Er Ghulam Hassan Kaloo, editor-in-chief, The Mirror of Kashmir and President Kashmir Press Association . Kaloo’s wife passed away on Saturday morning after brief illness.
In a statement, Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari expressed grief over demise of wife of Chief Editor The Mirror of Kashmir Ghulam Hassan Kuloo who passed away after a brief spell of illness on Saturday.
Besides Bukhari, Former Cabinet Minister and Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir and Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi also expressed sympathy with the bereaved family members. The Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said that the deceased was a noble and pious soul who would forever be remembered for her kind and helpful nature. Bukhari prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members.
The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir Saturday expressed profound grief over the passing away of the wife of Veteran Journalist Gh.Hassan Kaloo.
In his condolence message, JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir conveyed heartfelt condolences to Gh.Hassan Kaloo President of Kashmir Press Association and Editor in Chief Mirror of Kashmir and other members of the bereaved family. “I was deeply saddened to learn about the passing of wife of Gh.Hassan Kaloo and have no words to express my grief”, Mir said in his condolence message. JKPCC President expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for their courage to bear the irreparable loss while praying for eternal peace to departed soul.
Chairman Jammu & Kashmir People’s Democratic Front ( J&K PDF ) and former Minister Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen also expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of wife of Editor in chief , English daily ‘Mirror of Kashmir ‘ , Er.Gh Hassan Kaloo . In his condolence message , Hakeem Yaseen has expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the whole bereaved kaloo family . Expressing his solidarity with the grief stricken family in this hour of grief , Hakeem Yaseen has conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to them . He has also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, a condolence meeting of executive members of Jammu and Kashmir Press Association was held in Srinagar to condole the demise of Kaloo’s wife and special prayers were also held for the departed soul.
Notably, several political, social, religious and journalist associations offered condolences to Ghulam Hassan Kaloo.
JK Employees Joint Action Committee ( EJAC) too has expressed grief and sorrow on the sad demise of wife of Ghulam Hassan Kaloo, Senior journalist, President Kashmir Press Association and Editor-in Chief Mirror of Kashmir.
In a press statement President EJAC Mohd Rafique Rather said that “I am shocked on the sad and sudden demise of wife of Kaloo sahb, and added that entire employees fraternity share the grief of kaloo family.
Rather said that employees fraternity in indebted to this noble family which has always highlighted the issues of employees and sought redressal too.
Extending condolences and sympathies to bereaved family President EJAC said that ” i on behalf of entire leadership of EJAC and employees fraternity of
Jammu and Kashmir extend deepest condolences to Kaloo family, nears and dears and in particular to Ghulam Hassan Kaloo and added that we equally share the loss and grief of the bereaved family and stand by them at this crucial juncture.
Rather said that he prays for the departed soul to res in Jannah and courage to the family to bear with the irreparable loss.
