Cleanliness cum Beautification drive initiated in GCW Gandhinagar

Jammu: A Three Day Cleanliness cum beautification drive has been initiated at Government PG College for Women Gandhi Nagar Jammu from Thursday.
The drive is being organized under the patronage of the college Principal, Prof.Meenu Mahajan.
Around 50 cadets of 1Jk Girls Bn,1Jk Naval Unit and 2JK Girls Bn actively participated on the day -1 by cleaning the different areas assigned to them.
Being a wonderful experience for students, these drives motivate them to contribute their bit to society and play a key role in spreading awareness on the importance of Cleanliness which is next to Godliness.
Prof.Minu Mahajan appreciated the enthusiasm of the cadets and opined that Cleanliness is not the responsibility of one person rather it is the duty of every citizen. The drive is coordinated by Lt. Dr.Revika Arora, SLt.Dr. NeelimaGupta, Lt. Prof Suman Bala and C/T Prof.Poonam and Director Sports and Physical Education Dr.RoopaliSlathia.
