Srinagar: Director General J&K Police Dilbag Singh, and all ranks of Jammu & Kashmir Police have condoled and expressed grief over the sad demise of A C Chaturvedi, DGP (Retd), of the 1970 batch-IPS, J&K cadre who breathed his last on Wednesday evening at Jammu.
DGP has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and relatives of the deceased officer on behalf of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Pariwar and prayed for the departed soul.
The DGP J&K has said that the departed officer will be remembered for his services to the people and to the department. He has expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family. As has been reported Chaturvedi passed away peacefully at Jammu Wednesday evening after prolonged battle with cancer. He was 76. The last rites are scheduled to be performed at Jogi Gate cremation ground today on Thursday.
