Covid- 19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours, toll stays at 4750

Srinagar,Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Satuday said that 27 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) including 19from Jammu division and 8 from Kashmir division reported in last 24 hours raised the total number of positive cases to 454469. It however said that with no new covid death reported in last 24 hours from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir the J&K’s overall covid death toll stood at 4750.
Government in it’s bulletin also said that moreover,10 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 09 from Jammu division and 01 from Kashmir division,stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Saturday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 4,911doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to2,31,77,293.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 454469 positive cases, 141are Active Positive (95in Jammu Division and 46in Kashmir Division), 449576 have recovered and 4752 have died; 2328 in Jammu division and 2424in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 25645808 test results available, 454469samples have tested positive and 25191339 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 10,325COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6559650 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 263persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 141in isolation and 598in home surveillance. Besides, 6553896 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for Saturday, the Bulletin informs that Jammu reported 18 cases, Srinagar reported 07cases, Samba and Budgam reported 01 case each while as no other district across Jammu and Kashmir reported any fresh case.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
