Kulgam: The District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Friday chaired a meeting to review the progress of works under the District Development Plan/ District Capex budget for the year 2022-23 at conference Hall of the DC Office Complex, here.
During the meeting the DDC took sector wise review and progress of works in Education, RDD and PDD sectors under District Capex.
Dr Bilal took a detailed review of allotment of works, works started on ground and works completed, tendering and other related issues.
He directed the officers to achieve the completion targets of the workshop and ensure expenditure of funds released. He also asked them to personally monitor the quality and progress of all allotted works.
The DDC stressed upon officers to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of ongoing works for their time-bound completion.
During the meeting, it was informed that 2535 works are approved under District Capex with an estimated cost of 62 crore for financial year 2022-23 and more than 500 works have been allotted.
The DDC directed the concerned to immediately tender out works that have administrative approval and set deadlines for completion of all started works.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, JD- Planning, ACD, CEO, Ex. Engineer REW, BDOs and other officers.
