B’pora: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Waseem Raja Thursday chaired a meeting to review the functioning of Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS) and NGOs of the district.
The meeting discussed threadbare various issues related to social evils like drug menace, child labour besides issues related to drop out students.
Underlining the importance of preventing various social evils including child labour, the ADC called upon ICPS and NGOs to join hands to eradicate such evil practices and bring them to the notice of the concerned and book those violating the law.
ADC asked the participants to work in coordination with District Administration and keep sharing the work done by different Govt and Non-Governmental organizations with District Administration for keeping track of social evils thereby eradicating them from society.
The meeting was attended by TehsildarHq, officers and officials of ICPS, Social Welfare and representatives of NGOs besides others.
