Rajouri: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal Friday chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the progress on widening of Rajouri-Thanamandi road being executed by the BRO.
Commanding Officer 31 BRTF, KRJ Reddy, SDM Thanamandi, VikasDhar; AC Defence, Saleem Qureshi,TehsildarThanamandi, Sahil Shah & other concerned officers attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the DDC sought a detailed report about the progress on the project wherein the concerned officer briefed about the same. The meeting was apprised that the road is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 284.22 crore.
Addressing the officers in the meeting, the DDC instructed the concerned officer from the BRO to expedite progress on the project for completion in set timelines.
He also asked them to maintain quality while executing the work on the project and also directed them to undertake regular field visits for regular monitoring of the progress on the project.
The DDC also asked the concerned officers to maintain interdepartmental coordination to resolve the issues impeding the execution of the project so that the developmental bottlenecks can be resolved timely for the larger public interest.
