Pulwama|: As a part of Public outreach programme, Police in Pulwama facilitated a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Station Kakapora.
According to a police statement issued on Tuesday the meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Kakapora and attended by several other officers. The meeting was attended by Auqaf Committee members, Numberdars & respectables of Kakapora Pulwama.
During the meeting, several issues of public importance were discussed. The chairing officers assured for time bound redressal of grievances pertaining to Police. He also sought cooperation of people in eradicating the social evils prevailing in the society particularly menace of drugs.
The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
