K’gam|: Commissioner Secretary, Revenue, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, today inaugurated digitization land records training programme for revenue staff during his visit to the district.
The objective of the training was to educate the revenue staff about the procedure involved in digitization process to ensure early and error free digitization of land records.
This training programme is being attended by all Tehsildars and Patwaris of the district.
Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, Regional Director SLR, MarazAnantnag, Syed Hafeez Shah, ADC, Showkat Ahmad Rather, ACR, Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz and other officers were present during the inaugural event.
Later, Commissioner chaired a meeting of Revenue officers and reviewed in detail the progress and implementation of eviction plan, removal of encroachments from state kahcharai land and Migrant land, status of updation of revenue records, wakf properties besides other revenue related matters.
During the meeting, the ACR gave a detailed presentation on functioning of Revenue Department across the district.
Commissioner Secretary stressed upon the Tehsildars, Patwaris and other staff involved in digitization of land records to work with added zeal and dedication to complete the digitization process in a time bound manner.
He also complimented the Patwaris and allied staff for their dedication exhibited during updation process of revenue records.
