Kupwara|: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir Monday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the arrangements being put in place for smooth celebration of UrsHazrat Ziti-Shah-Wali (RA) on June 13 and 14 at Moqam-i-Shah WaliDrugmulla, here.
During the meeting, Officers were directed to place all arrangements beforehand so that devotees do not face any inconvenience.
Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti and PDD were directed to provide uninterrupted water and power supply during the Urs period. While as Executive Engineer R&B was directed to ensure proper maintenance of roads leading to the shrine.
CMO Kupwara was directed to depute the Medical team along with necessary medicare equipment during the Urs. Police department was asked to make adequate security arrangements in the area.
The DC directed the ADC Kupwara to visit the Shrine on June 9 along with the concerned officers to take stock of the arrangements on ground.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, GhulamNabi Bhat; ASP Kupwara, Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE and PDD, Dy. CMO, TehsildarDrugmulla, EO Municipal Committee Kupwara and other concerned were present in the meeting.
