Jammu : Continuing its endeavour to create awareness about Cyber Hygiene and Cyber Crime among students, Cyber Jaagrookta (Awareness) Cell of PSPS Govt PG College for Women Gandhi Nagar, on Wednesday organised an Essay Writing Competition on Cyber Hygiene in Public Life.
The program was held under the patronage of the college Principal Prof. Minu Mahajan.
As many as 20 students of the college participated in the competition. The competition was adjudged by Prof Mamta Gupta (H.O.D Commerce), Dr. Rahul Sharma (H.O.D Biotechnology) and Prof. Abhinav Sharma.
Tanveer Kour of sem 2nd stood first in the competition, while 2nd and 3rd positions were clinched by Varsha Largotra of sem 5 and Chahat Sharma of sem 2, respectively.
The whole event was organized by the Committee constituted for Cyber Jagrukta (Awareness) which includes Prof. Rohit Gupta (Nodal Officer), members Prof. Mamta Kundal, Dr. Ashok Kumar, Prof. Rajinder Kumar, Dr. Javaid Iqbal and Prof. Poonam. In her message Principal of College Prof Minu Mahajan congratulated the participants and advised them to participate in large numbers in such types of events.
