Amarnath Yatra: ADDC Ang holds Special Grievance Camp at Khoveripora

Anantnag : The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC)Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Wani Friday held a special grievance redressal camp at KhoveriporaAnantnag.
The camp was part of a special drive of grievance redressal camps being held in all villages en route the Holy Cave being held prior to the commencement of SANJY-2022.
Delegations including PRIs and the general public put forth their grievances with regard to water supply, electricity, and road connectivity, construction of bridges, ration, healthcare, education and irrigation.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC said that the special camps are being organized to address the grievances of the general public in villages’ enroute the Holy Cave. He exhorted the officers from line departments to ensure that all public services are delivered efficiently to the public. He emphasized on maintaining cleanliness in the vicinity and along the Yatra route.
The ADDC urged the people to extend their cooperation during the Yatra and extend warm hospitality to the Yatries. He assured the delegations that their genuine grievance would be resolved in a time bound manner and stressed upon the concerned officers to coordinate with the PRIs and general public, besides speed up the construction of all the ongoing works and complete them within the stipulated time frame.
BDC Chairman K Pora on the occasion thanked the public for their participation.
Among others Officials from several other departments including Revenue, Health, RDD FCS&CA, Jal Shakti, R&B remained present in the grievance redressal camp.
It is in place to mention that similar functions were organized in Qazigund, Vessu and Anantnag and more than 25 panchayats have been covered under the special grievance camps. The camps at all locations saw heavy participation of people who put forth grievances regarding various issues including road connectivity, water, electricity supply, etc.
The camps were attended by officials from various line departments and PRIs from the respective areas.
