Inter-School Zonal Level Tournament for U19 boys concludes in Bhaderwah

Bhaderwah : The Inter-School Zonal Level Tournament for U-19 Boys organised by Department of youth Services & Sports in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Badminton, Chess, Carrom and Athletics concluded Friday at Government Higher Secondary School Boys Bhaderwah.
About 137 student players, drawn from different Hr. Sec. Schools of zone Bhaderwah participated in the tournament in a well-disciplined manner.
The main motive of the tournament was to select the best talent in each discipline for their further participation in Interzonal District level Tournaments.
District Youth Services & Sports Officer JafferHaider Sheikh advised the student players to stay in touch with games as inter zonal District level tournaments will start soon at District headquarter.
The Chess final was won by Prince Kotwal of HSS Chinta by defeating Pratyush Bhat HSS Boys Bhaderwah, while Danish Singh HSS Boys Bhaderwah won the Carrom final by defeating Danish HSS Bhalra.
The HSS Boys Bhaderwah Volleyball and Kabaddi teams won the finals of both disciplines by defeating the respective teams of GHSS Sartingal.
The matches were officiated by AftabAlam PEM, Abdul Haq PEM, MurtazaQadir PETs, Gulshan REK, Nidhay Sharma REK, Subash, Rattan Lal PET, SusheelaKumari PET, RameshaKumari PET, Asha Devi PET, ReenuBhala PET, Sanjay Kumar, Suresh Kumar PET, Nirmal Singh, Tariq Hussain PET, Tariq Mehmood PET, Reeta Devi PET Waqar Ahmed REK besides others Staffs of Sports Department and Staffs of Schools etc.
