Hakeem asks HCI to accomodate all women Haj pilgrims without Mehram nearer to Harmain Shariefain

"Provide Haj pilgrims free boarding, lodging facilities as a goodwill gesture"

Srinagar|May,18: Chairman People’s Democratic Front (PDF ) and Former Minister Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen has urged the Haj Committee of India to accomodate all the women Haj pilgrims ( without Mehram) together in the boarding and lodging buildings nearest to the Harmain Shariefain . He said about 1800 women Haj pilgrims under without Mehram category from across the country including 9 from Kashmir valley have been selected to perform Haj -2022 adding that the new experiment need to be made successful .
In a statement issued on Wednesday , Hakeem while urging the Haj Committee of India to accommodate all the women Haj pilgrims under without Mehram category in boarding and lodging places nearest to the Harmain Shariefain ( Makkah and Madina Sharif) so that they may not face any difficulty in performing and completing all the manask-i-haj . He said since performing the Haj by women Haj pilgrims without Mehram was a new experience, first of its kind in the Islamic history , all possible facilities need to be provided to them , to make the new experiment successful in all respects especially providing accommodation nearer to Harmain Shariefain (Makkah and Madina) .He said these women Haj pilgrims should be airlifted in the first flights to the holly places of Makkah and Madina . ” Only female Khudams out of 400 Khudamul Hijaz selected for Haj-2022 ,must be deployed for guidance and assistance of the women Haj pilgrims and thier contact numbers should be shared among them so that they could be easily accessed at the time of help ,” Hakeem  added . He said as a goodwill gesture , women Haj pilgrims without Mehram should also be provided free boarding and lodging facilities at Makkah Sharif and Madina Sharif .
Hakeem appealed Union Minister in charge Haj and Minority Affairs Syed Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi to personally look into the issues of women Haj pilgrims without Mehram to make their Haj pilgrimage smooth, easy and successful . He said aforementioned facilities to women Haj pilgrims under without Mehram category would be goodwill gesture and great contribution for making Haj pilgrimage smooth.
