Srinagar, Aug 7 : A bullet- riddled body of a youth, in his late 20s, was recovered in Shopian district of south Kashmir on late Monday night.
Official sources told news agency GNS that the body of the youth, wearing khan-dress and sports shoes was recovered near middle school Alam Gung area of Sudsun in the southern district.
The police recovered the body soon after information that the youth was lying in pool of blood on road side.
After taking the body into custody, they said Police Post Bhibagh has taken it for postmortem.
The police is ascertaining the identity of the youth and also the details leading to the youth’s killing, they said. (GNS)
