Jammu : Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) organised a cultural program at Government College for Women, Parade under the aegis of AzadikaiAmritMahotsav.
Dr. SP Sarswat was the chief guest, while Professor Dr.JasmeetKour coordinated the programme.
The chief guest lauded the Information Department for organizing the programme to celebrate the 75 glorious years of India’s Independence with the students and staff of the premier College of Jammu City. He hoped that the department would continue to inspire the young generation to remember and appreciate the heroes of Indian Freedom struggle.
Students of the college, Samiksha, Komal, DikshaPandita, Gurneet, Mehak, Gurtoo sisters and RanjuJasrotia, besides Artists of DIPR Cultural Wing Vijay Anand, Bunty Shah, Surjit Singh, Mohinder Kumar, Kamal Kumar and RajidManzoor presented a scintillating musical programme, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
