B’la|April, 20: Police on Tuesday visited the family of slain SPO Abdul Rashid Gojree at Azadgunj Baramulla.
According to a police statement, Dy SP DAR DPL Baramulla, Peerzada Aijaz and SHO PS Baramulla, Insp. Syed Showkat Ahmad visited the family of slain SPO Abdul Rashid Gojree resident of Azadgunj Baramulla who laid down his life in safeguarding the integrity of the nation and for the peace and stability in the valley.
“Police are always ready to render helping hand to the families of slain police personnel and assure that reach-out programmes shall continue in the district”, reads the police statement, adding that “the family of the slain police personnel expressed gratitude and happiness for the police department for this kind and empathetic gesture”.
