B’pora : The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bandipora in collaboration with Municipal Committee Bandipora on Tuesday organized an Awareness Programme on Solid Waste Management at Municipal Committee Office Bandipora.
The event was held under the Chairmanship of Pr. District & Session Judge Bandipora, Mohammad Ibrahim Wani and was supervised by Secretary DLSA Bandipora along with Executive Officer Municipal Committee Bandipora.
During the session, speakers sensitized the participants regarding the importance of Solid Waste Management and highlighted other issues related to Solid Waste. They also sensitized the participants regarding the proper collection, segregation and disposal of Solid Wastes.
The programme was attended by Officers/Officials of Municipal Committee Bandipora, PLVs, officials of DLSA Bandipora and other participants.
Tehsil Legal Services Committee Sumbal in collaboration with Municipal Committee Sumbal also organized an Awareness Programme on Solid Waste Management at Municipal Committee Office Sumbal.
Similarly, Tehsil Legal Services Committee Gurez in collaboration with Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School DawarGurez organized an awareness programme on Solid Waste Management at Govt. Girls. Hr. Sec. School DawarGurez. The Programme was attended by Teachers, Students and PLVs of TLSC Gurez.
