Gram Swaraj Month: DC Kulgam inaugurates playfield at Pranhal village

Kulgam : As part of the ongoing Gram Swaraj Month, the Deputy Commissioner, (DC) Kulgam, Dr.BilalMohi-Ud-Din Bhat Saturday inaugurated a newly developed playfield at village Pranhal.
The playground has been established at an estimated cost of Rs. 13 lacs, by the Rural Development Department.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the District Administration is committed to provide better sports related facilities, infrastructure to youth and has already developed playfields in all 178 panchayats of the district.
He added that these playfields will provide a platform to the local youth to showcase their talent. He also highlighted other youth engagement initiatives which have been taken by the District Administration.
The DC also announced an additional amount of Rs.10 lac for further development of this playfield at Pranhal.
Among others, ACR, ACD, ACP, BDO and other officers were present on the occasion, besides SarpanchPranhal, locals, and a good number of players and sports lovers were present on the occasion.
