Kathua : Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rahul Yadav on Thursday expressed anguish over the tragic death of a tribal woman in a Bus-Cart accident at LondiMorh, Hiranagar.
The accident happened when a convoy of Tribalwas hit by a speedy bus in which a lady member of the tribal group lost her life and few others were injured.
Terming the accident as highly unfortunate, the Deputy Commissioner saidthe bereaved family has been provided Rs 1 Lakh as an immediate reliefunder Red Cross Fund, while Rs 50,000 has been given in Cash to the bereaved family. He said a case is also being processed under the Road Accident Victim Fund to compensate the family.
