Iconic week under Gram Swaraj Month: Array of activities under 100 point prog held across Kathua

Kathua : Under the ongoing Iconic Week being celebrated as part of Gram Swaraj Month, the first two days were marked with a number of activities, including Establishment of Panchayat Secretariats, formulation of PanchayatHeritage plan, SthapnaDiwas declaration, GEM registration of Panchayat level Vendors, PMAY AWAS PLUS sanctions, MGNREGA job card saturation an awareness on Jan Nigrani and area officer app usage etc.
As per ACD Kathua, Kishore Singh Katoch, all 257 panchayats have successfully established Panchayat secretariats and adopted SthapnaDiwas Declaration.
Among other activities being carried out by RDD include GEM registration of Panchayat level vendors; awareness on usage of Jan Nigrani and Area Officer App. The field functionaries ensured saturation of MGNREGA job cards, PMAY AWAS PLUS sanctions and PMAY SECC house completion of all the eligible beneficiaries.
