FCS&CA organizes awareness camp on departmental schemes in Samba

Samba : The Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Samba Wednesday organizes an awareness camp on Anna Yojana& Public Distribution System under the aegis of “AzadiKaAmritMahotsav” here at RangoorPanchayat of Tehsil Ramgarh.
The primary aim of the event was to spread awareness among the beneficiaries about various ongoing food grain schemes of the department like Pradhan MantriGaribKalyan Anna Yojana, NFSA/Non-NFSA, and ONORC etc.
The officials also highlighted the achievements of the department like 100% Aadhaar Seeding of beneficiaries, installation of Point of Sales devices at Fair Price Shops, Ration distribution through biometric authentication, roll out of One Nation One Ration Card scheme etc.
The beneficiaries who benefitted from the schemes also shared their experiences at the event.
Darshan Singh, BDC Ramgarh, concerned PRI Members, Rashpal Singh, Tehsil Supply Officer, Ramgarh, Fair Price Shop Dealers and beneficiaries/rationees of the area were present on the occasion.
