DC Shopian reviews progress of registration of beneficiaries, generation of Golden Cards under AB-PMJAY-SEHAT

Shopian : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya Tuesday chaired a meeting on Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan ArogyaYojana-SEHAT Scheme (AB-PMJAY-SEHAT) to review the progress of registration of beneficiaries and generation of Golden Cards in Shopian district.
On the occasion, threadbare deliberations were held on present status and achievements made with regard to implementation of AB-PMJAY-SEHAT in Shopian district.
The meeting also discussed in detail the modalities for speeding up the registration for SEHAT scheme and directions were passed on to all the concerned to increase registration of beneficiaries under the scheme in their respective areas.
The meeting was informed that the registration process is going on speedily and efforts are on to achieve the required target well in time.
Vaishya stressed the officers for prompt issuance of SEHAT cards under the scheme to all registered beneficiaries and undertaking registration process of all left out population in the district. He directed the concerned to deploy Ashas for the purpose of house to house survey and motivating the beneficiaries for registration.
The DC also directed the concerned authorities to start Information Education and Communication (IEC) activities on mission mode by roping in other concerned departments for creating mass awareness in the district for speeding up registration process.
He further directed the concerned to ensure cent percent population is covered under the scheme within specified time.
Vaishya called for coordinated efforts in expanding the ambit of SEHAT scheme so that all eligible persons of Shopian district are benefitted.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmed Simnani, SDM, Zainapora, Chief Medical Officer, all Tehsildars, AD, FCS&CA and other officials.
