DC Kupwara inspects ongoing developmental works in Qadirabad, Trehgam blocks

Kupwara : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Saturdayvisited different areas of block Qadirabad and Trehgam in the district and to take stock of various on-going developmental works, besides, he also heard various public delegations.
During the visit, the DC inspected construction of R-Wall and Drain at Dar MohallahAwoora constructed at a cost of Rs.2 lakh under MPLADS. He also inspected the PanchayatGharAwoora and directed the concerned BDO for projecting the Panchayat building for its renovation.
Imam Din also heard local people who put forth various demands including upgradation of Dar Mohallah link road. He directed the concerned officer for assessment of the road through a team of engineers for its augmentation.
Later, the DC visited Trehgam block and inspected the renovation work of Tehsil Office building which has been approved at a cost of Rs.9 lakh under Kahcharie rent.
He also inspected the construction of R-Wall at Hill Top Trehgam which has been constructed at a cost of Rs.6.8 lakh under Area Development Fund (ADF).
While interacting and listening to various public delegations during the entire visit, the DC said that the Government has strengthened the roots of Panchayati Raj system and people should take maximum benefit from it. He impressed upon the people to participate in Gram Sabhas at panchayat level for proper planning and development of their respective areas.
Gram Swaraj Month: DC Kulgam reviews progress, achievements of targets
Kulgam,: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.BilalMohi-Ud-Din Bhat Saturdaychaired a meeting of officers at mini-secretariat, here to take stock of programmes/activities being carried out in connection with “Gram Swaraj Month” in the district.
During the meeting, the DC also took a detailed review of activities organized across the district and the target achieved with focus of implementation on a 100 point programme.
The meeting was informed that 100 percent of Annual plan of Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) was uploaded, besides MGNREGA has been sent to blocks for estimation and District plan has been submitted for the current FY.
It was also shared that 68 percent golden cards were generated.
While reviewing the establishment of PatwarKhanas, it was informed that cent percent PatwarKhanas have been established across the district.
It was also informed that 100 percent saturation under KCC, Old age pension, Soil health cards, PM-KISAN, My School My Pride, e-Shram has been achieved. It was also informed that Gem registration of Panchayat Level vendors is in progress.
The DC also reviewed action taken and target achievement on various other points which includes, HarPanchayat, PanchayatGhar, Road to every village, Websites for all panchayats, HarGaonHaryali, Panchayat heritage plan and all other points mentioned in the 100 point programme.
He instructed Health, RDD, Social Welfare to organize events of Nashamuktpanchayat jointly and events on Kriposhanmuktpanchayats to be organized by health department, ICDS in coordination with RDD.
He also stressed to identify water tourism spots as the district has immense water tourism potential.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, ADC, ACD and ACP among others.
