Jammu : A Cultural Program-cum-Mushaira was Friday organized by the Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Jammu in collaboration with DogriSahityaSabha here at Baba Bhaid, Dansal.
The event was held under the aegis of AzadikaAmritMahotsav- an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.
Panch Luxmi Devi was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Artists of Cultural Wing Jammu Vijay Anand, Bunty Shah, Kamal Kumar and Mohinder Kumar presented Patriotic and folk Songs on the occasion. Near about 15 poets recited their poetic works on different social and cultural issues in Dogri, Hindi and Urdu languages.
