Kishtwar : To commemorate the 75 years of India’s independence Additional District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar Sham Lal (JKAS) Thursday flagged off a PadhYatra under AzadiKaAmritMahotsav here from New DC office complex.
The walkathon culminated at Char Chinar, Chowgan ground Kishtwar.
The padhYatra was organised by Department of youth services & sports under the close supervision of DYSSO KishtwarKharatiLal Sharma.
More than 500 students participated in the run as per activity calendar issued by the Director-General Youth Services &Sports J&K Ganafar Ali.
The Chief Guest appreciated the sports department for organizing the events beneficial for physical fitness.
Students as well the sports employees take part in the run with full enthusiasm, discipline and completed the target with great zeal.
