Sansad Khel Spardha: Wrestling, athletics competitions conclude at Doda

Doda : On the Day six of Inter Block Tournament under Sansad Khel Spardha, Wrestling and athletics competition were held here at Doda sports stadium.
Besides, different competitions of track and field were also completed in the U/17 boys category.
The Tuesday’s events were inaugurated by Jaffar Haider Sheikh DYSSO Doda in the presence of the field staff of the sports department.
Last evening the final volleyball and kabbadi matches were won by MC Doda girls after beating Block Changa girls by 2-1, Block Ghat girls by 6 points, respectively.
In the boys’ category athletics, Nikhil Parihar, Sunny Deol, and Nadeem Abass bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in 100 metres while Sunny Deol, Junaid Latief & Farzan Ali shared the positions in 200 metres, respectively.
In 400 metre category, Sawan Singh, Sarwar Fareed and Shubam won first three positions, respectively, while in 800 metres, Manjeet Kumar emerged as winner.
In Shot Put, Imtiyaz Ahmed, Maneet Kumar and Adarsh Manhas won the three positions and in Long Jump Sunny Deol, Farzand Ali and Sudesh Kumar won the first three positions, respectively.
