Sansad Khel Spardha: MC Doda wins Kabaddi final by beating Block Khara

Doda: As part of ongoing Inter Block tournament under Sansad Khel Spardha, Kabaddi competitions were held Friday here at Sports Stadium Doda.
The second Day of the tournament witnessed semi finals and final match in Kabbadi. The final match was won by MC Doda by beating Block Khara by 32 points.
Four teams reached the semi-final stage, including MC Doda, Block Khara, Jakyas, and Bhaderwah.
In the first semi final, Khara beat Bhaderwah by 6 points and Doda MC beat Jakyas by 16 points.
Later, the DYSSO Doda distributed certificates among the players.
DC Kishtwar inaugurates IBDL tournament under “Sansad Khel Spardha-2022
Kishtwar: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma Friday declared open the Inter Block District Level “Sansad Khel Spardha-2022” organised by District Youth Services and Sports Department and sponsored by Department of Social welfare under Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan, here at Chowgan ground.
A total 372 under 17 players forming the part of 10 block level and 1 municipal level team participated in the Mega Sports event.
Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Kumar Sharma was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while SSP Shafkat Hussain Bhat and Rocky Goswami and Sourav Kotwal (nominated member SKS) were guests of Honour.
DSWO Kishtwar Tariq Parveaz Qazi, DYSSO Kishtwar Kharati Lal Sharma, staff of sports, Information and social welfare Department besides scores of players were also present on the occasion.
The program started with the administering of “Sansad Khel Spardha ” and “Nasha Mukht Bharat ” pledges to the participating players and their escorts.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Kishtwar highlighted the importance of sports activities and extended gratitude to the Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh for this unique initiative which aims at identifying the local talent and to nurture them for the national events in the upcoming days.
He also threw light on various infrastructure Development projects and Sports activities in sports sectors in the district.
Besides, he appealed Parents to encourage their wards to inculcate sportsmanship and urged Youth to participate in games and Sports to keep themselves away from social evils like drugs.
Others who spoke on the occasion were the DSWO and nominated Member Sansad Khel Spardha Rocky Goswami. They enlightened the participants about the various aspects of Sansad Khel Spardha and Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan.
The DSWO explained in detail the aim of Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan in the selected districts of the country including Kishtwar. He urged the participating students to channelize their energy in the right direction so as to make the District Kishtwar Nasha Mukht.
Later, the Tournament viz a viz 100 meter, 200 mtrs, 400 mtrs race, Shot Put, long jump, volleyball, Kho-Kho, wrestling and Kabbadi etc. was declared open by DC Kishtwar and SSP Kishtwar in presence of other sports officers and officials.
Refreshment and transportation charges were also provided to participating players by district Administration.
