Covid- 19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours, toll stays at 4750

Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Thursday that 17 fresh cases reported in last 24 hours raised the total no of positive cases to 453,737. It however said that no new covid death was reported from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir and as such J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4750.
In it’s daily covid bulletin the Government also said that among 17 new cases, 25 belong to Kashmir division while as 02 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 287,479 including 284,917 recoveries and 2,423 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 166,258 including 163,919 recoveries and 2,327 deaths.
Government in it’s covid bulletin also said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 151 including 139 from Kashmir division and 12 from Jammu division. With 12 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 448,836 which is 98.92 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 12 from Srinagar, 01 from Baramulla, 01 from Budgam, 01 from Pulwama, 00 from Kupwara, 00 from Anantnag, 00 from Bandipora, 00 from Ganderbal, 00 from Kulgam and 00 Shopian in Kashmir division while as 02 from Jammu division include 02 from Jammu district, 00 from Udhampur, 00 from Rajouri, 00 from Doda, 00 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 00 from Kishtwar, 00 from Poonch, 00 from Ramban and 00 from Reasi,” reads the daily covid bulletin .Meanwhile, authorities said that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in J&K and the tally stands at 51.
As per officials figures, 102,478 positive cases including 907 deaths and 101,464 recoveries are from Srinagar, 37,635 including 304 deaths and 37,317 recoveries are from Baramulla, 34,830 including 34,589 recoveries and 237 deaths are from Budgam, 18,425 including 18,223 recoveries and 201 deaths are from Pulwama, 21,746 including 174 deaths and 21,569 recoveries are from Kupwara, 22,4227 including 22,203 recoveries and 219 deaths are from Anantnag, 13,686 cases including 13,567 and 118 deaths are from Bandipora, 13,626 including 13,542 recoveries and 84 deaths are from Ganderbal, 16,321 including 16,199 recoveries and 119 deaths are from Kulgam and 6,305 including 6,244 recoveries and 60 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 76,183 including 74,952 recoveries and 1,223 deaths are from Jammu district, 14,767 including 14,620 recoveries and 147 deaths are from Udhampur, 12,807 including 12,558 recoveries and 249 deaths are from Rajouri, 11,529 including 11,382 recoveries and 144 deaths are from Doda, 11,411 including 11,245 recoveries and 166 deaths are from Kathua, 9,086 including 8,961 recoveries and 125 deaths are from Samba, 5,895 including 5,848 recoveries and 46 deaths are from Kishtwar, 7,740 including 7,630 recoveries and 110 deaths are from Poonch, 8,138 including 8,069 recoveries and 69 deaths are from Ramban and 8,702 including 8,654 recoveries and 48 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 6,340,248 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 31,647 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 151 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 5,816,210 persons have completed the surveillance period and 487,490 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 24,375,663 samples are available. Out of 24,375,663 the number of samples tested negative stands at 23,921,926 while as 453,737 have tested positive, among them 151 cases are active, 453,737 have recovered and 4,750 persons have died
