DDC Doda orders quality audit of blacktopping work on Bhaderwah Road

Doda : District Development Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma has ordered quality audit of the blacktopping work on Doda Bhaderwah Road after the complaint of the public.
Responding to the issues raised during weekly Block Divas meeting held at Bhaderwah the other day, the DDC directed the Additional Deputy Commissioner to ask the PWD department to check the quality of the blacktopping work and fix the responsibility. He assured the people that appropriate action will be taken against the monitoring agency.
The DDC also pulled up Jammu and Kashmir Project Construction Company for sluggish work on Dareja Bridge and directed the concerned to expedite the pace of work and to dedicate the project to the public at an earliest.
A large number of people and PRIs from across the Bhaderwah Block attended the Public outreach program (Block Divas) held at BDO office and projected to the demands of their respective areas.
The District Development Commissioner also issued on the spot directions to the concerned departments with regard to other demands raised by the public, which included settlement of dispute over the land identified for the PanchayatGharUdrana, shifting of primary students of upper Beja High School to the old building, to appiont trained teacher for deaf and dumb students, to settle the land issue of Shenkhoja Upper Primary School, speeding up of progress on Hanga road, besides other important Issues.
The DDC directed all the departments and its Officials to remain present in their respective areas to attended and address the grievances of the locals. He further asked ADC to cover all blocks on rotation basis as the block Divas venues.
Further, DDC directed the ADC to go through the register of grievances being maintained by the line departments and verify the disposal till date.
Among others present during the program were BDC Chairperson Bhaderwah, DDC Member Bhaderwah West, ADC Bhaderwah, TehsildarBhaderwah, Ex En irrigation, and other officers and PRI members.
