DC Samba addresses Public Grievances at block HQ Vijaypur

Samba: As part of the Public Outreach programme of JK Government, District Administration Samba Wednesday organized weekly Block Divas meetings at all the designated places to address the people’s grievances.
Deputy Commissioner Anuradha Gupta chaired a public outreach program at block Headquarter Vijaypur block and listened to the issues projected by the PRIs and public of adjoining Panchayats.
During the programme, the participants were also educated about the Land Record Information system (ApkiZameenApkiNigrani), Jan Bhagidari (Empowerment), PanchayatDarpan portal and other initiatives.
The departments had also installed booths to inform and encourage the participants about employment and economic development schemes including social security schemes, financial inclusion schemes, self-employment schemes, Central sponsored schemes and others. Fresh applications for availing benefits of different schemes were also received on the spot, while the officials also issued caste certificates, income certificates etc.
Block Development Council Chairman Yogeswar Singh, District Development Council member ShilpaDubey, SDM Vijaypur, Vinay Sharma, besides other district and sectoral officers were also present.
Meanwhile, Block Divas meetings were also held at Ghagwal and Samba.
