DIPR Cultural Wing organises Cultural Prog-cum-Mushaira at Bajalata Jammu

Jammu: A Cultural Program-cum-Mushaira was Wednesday organized by the Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Jammu in collaboration with DogriSahityaSabha, KuppadPargalta at Bajalata.
The event was held under the aegis of AzadikaAmritMahotsav- AzadiKaAmritMahotsavan initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.
Former MLA Devender Singh Rana was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
While addressing the participants, the Chief Guest lauded the Information Department for organising Cultural Programme-cum-Mushaira to mark the celebration of 75 years of India’s Independence and using medium of cultural activities to spread awareness about a range of issues of public importance.
Artists of Cultural Wing Jammu Bunty Shah, RajidManzoor, Balbir Singh, Kamal Kumar, Mohinder Kumar and Mukesh Kumar presented Patriotic and folk Songs on the occasion.
The poets Ashok Kumar Sharma, MohinderBhagat, Prem Chand, SubashSumbria, Gillu Ram, Yoj Raj Sharma and Janak Raj Bhagatrecited their poetic works on different social and cultural issues.
