Afzal  Bhat honoured atJ&K Teachers Forum’s grand educational conference in Srinagar

Srinagar|March,27 : The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum organized a day long educational conference in Srinagar which was presided over by the eminent trade union leader, President Jammu and Kashmir EJAC and Chairman Teachers Forum Mr. Muhammad Rafiq Rather.The conference was attended by Director School  Education Kashmir Dr. Tassaduq Hussain and Director Tourism Dr. Ghulam Nabi Itoo besides Chairman J&K Civil Society and former President Teachers Forum Abdul Qayyum Wani ,as Chief guests.
On their superannuation Muhammad Afzal Bhat, State President JKTF and Farooq Ahmed Rather, advisor JKTF,were honoured at the grand even. Speakers paid glorious tributes to Mohammad Afzal Bhat on his retirement and appreciated his sympathy and sincerity towards teaching fraternity.The President embarked on a journey and has always been a part of the meaningful struggle for the employees, so today the leading personalities on his retirement highlighted his abilities and called him a great leader and appreciated his selfless spirit and services. Farooq Ahmed Rather, a key member of the forum, speakers hailed him and termed him an important asset of the forum. The conference was attended by a large number of teachers as well as district and zonal presidents of the forum.  Abdul Qayyum Wani Founder President of the Teachers Forum and eminent social activist addressed the gathering Called “Muhammad Afzal Butt a  courageous comrade”. He said that Bhat stood by the forum in spite of all difficult circumstances and continued to fight for the betterment of teachers and their rights. 
Director Tourism Kashmir, Dr. G N Itoo, while talking about his experience as  Director School Education Kashmir, said that the leaders of the forum, including Muhammad Afzal Butt, have always worked for the betterment of the education system and the welfare of teachers as well. 
Director School Education Kashmir Dr. Tassaduq Hussain Mir on the occasion of “the first educational conference”of its kind Congratulated  Mohammad Afzal Bhat on his dignified retirement, he termed him a capable teacher and a compassionate man. Referring to the new education policy, he said that teachers have more responsibilities and expressed hope That teachers will demonstrate all their abilities in further improving the education system in the future. 
The President Jammu and Kashmir EJAC and Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum Muhammad Rafiq Rather thanked all the guests for attending the conference and urged all the Leaders of the forum to strengthen their cadre and work for the welfare of teaching community. He said that he and his team of leaders  would continue to serve the teachers at all levels with the same spirit. He also appealed to the teachers to ensure the provision of quality education to the students and Play your key role in making the future of the nation brighter. In his speech, he assured the teachers community that EJAC and TF would work for the solution of all their problems and appealed to the teachers to maintain mutual unity and play their role in strengthening the forum.  Welcoming remarks of the conference were presented by Provincial President Showkat Ahmed Baig.  Vice President Mohammad Amin Bhat,  State Secretary Ghulam Nabi including EJAC Leaders Sajjad Parray, Wajahat Durrani, Shabir Ahmed Lungo, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Saleem Sagar, Mansoor Ahmed and Hatim Ahmad.District Presidents Ajaz Ahmad Dar, Hamidullah, Ashfaq Ahmad Shah, Mohammad Muzaffar, Syed Sajjad Hussain, Mohammad Ashraf and Mushtaq Salafi congratulated Mohammad Afzal Butt on his Superannuation .
 The central leadership of the forum, Qamar Ud Din Qadri, Mir Ahmadullah, Tariq Ahmad Lone, Shabir Ahmad.Butt, Javed Ahmed Khan, Farooq Ahmed Butt, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, Irfan Trali, Mir Bashir and all the zonal presidents were present in the conference. During the conference, two books compiled by the teachers, Khalid Bashir Telgami’s “Dukhti Rag” and Abdul Qadir Madani’s “Corona Virus Our mout ka nach” were released. At the end of the conference, many honors were accorded to the retiring leaders and they were given farewell in a dignified manner.
