Hijab is compulsory for women to save their modesty and chastity of all periods and times in Islam. The Islamic dress code does not only include of a veil that covers up the neck, the head and the bosom, whereas it takes in the overall dress that should be loose and long. “The Holy Prophet (SAW) said: You should keep your glance downward and protect your modesty and chastity (Ibn-e-Kathir)”. “Hazrat Ibne Abbas (R.A) states: To uncover the face and hands is permissible for a woman when there is no fear of bad intents and doings. And men should consider the fact that the Qur’an has ordained them to lower their gaze and be modest (Abu-Dawood,)”. Once “the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) observed: You take the responsibility for six things, I assure you of Paradise: When you speak with anyone does not tell a lie. When something is entrusted to you, you do not deceive. When you promise, you do not back out. You keep your gaze downward and hold your hands (from aggression) and guard your chastity”. Further “The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If any believer happens to cast his first glance at the beauty of a woman and then turns his sight away, Allah the Exalted, creates sweetness for him in his Ibada  i.e prayer, worship etc. (Ibn-e-Kathir)”. Furthermore “the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A glance is one of the poisoned arrows of Iblis. He who guards it for fear of Allah, he would turn it into sweetness of faith and the believer would relish its taste in his heart (Ibn-e-Kathir)”. “The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whosoever determined to maintain chastity has glad-tidings of Paradise from Allah (Ibn-e-Kathir)”. “The valuable assets are chastity and modesty which helps growing morale and the character of the people. If an honorable nation carries all ways of law and remain lawful then it would be fruitful to keep their honour up. And if such laws are ignored then sins, crimes, discord, hatred and bias rampant all around.

In modern time, women have been working in all agriculture societies, side by side the men, as well as elevating livestock in their traditional Hijab. In today’s modern world, Muslim women, which are living in urban societies, they have performed with confidence and extraordinary achievements in the field of judiciary, education, research, medicine, parliament and others.

Muslim women are facing difficulties in social achievements of knowledge and other activities due to Hijab, it is a wrong concept. When we read the History of Muslim, it is disclosed, that Muslim women have paid very significant rule in different fields.
