B’pora : The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Ali Afsar Khan on Thursday chaired a meeting of officers to review the arrangements being put in place for smooth conduct of OMR based Objective type written examination for Sub Inspector, J&K Police being conducted by JK Services Selection Board on March 27.
Threadbare discussions were held on various issues regarding the examinations including, accommodation facilities, provision of vehicles, manpower for the receipt, dispatch of examination material, security in and around strong room and examination centres, besides other related issues.
At the outset, the ADDC was informed that the examination shall be held on 27th of March at designated examination centers across the district. Officials said seven centres have been designated in the district and about 2700 candidates are expected to appear in the said examination.
It was given out that an adequate number of Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, supervisory staff and invigilators as per the requirement have already been engaged.
ADDC said the Magistrates have also been appointed at all examination centers. Security plan for the smooth conduct of the examination was also discussed in detail.
He directed the officers to ensure all arrangements are well in place and execute the plan as per given directions to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.
He urged all the concerned to work in coordination and cohesion for conducting the exams smoothly and peacefully and also directed to make all the requisite arrangements well in advance.
Mobile phones and other electronic devices will not be allowed inside the exam center. Candidates will be allowed to carry only ball-point pens and hall tickets inside the exam hall.
