Chairman DDC Doda tours Thathri area, Flags off students’ rally under Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign, listens to public grievances

Doda : To reach out to the people residing in far-off areas and to take stock of implementation of various schemes on the ground, District Development Council Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal Thursday conducted an extensive tour of Thathri area.
During the visit, he flagged off Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan students’ rally at Sub Divisional headquarter Thathri.
Later, he visited the Birshala area and met scores of deputations and PRIs. He was accompanied by DDC member Thathri Sandeep Kumar, ACD Doda Phulail Singh, Tehsildar and SHO Thathri. The local Public projected several demands and sought early construction of Balwana Road.
The Chairman directed the concerned departments to take steps to meet this highly genuine public demand at an earliest. Besides, the ACD and Tehsildar were instructed to resolve the issues of construction of the Community Centre at Birshala, being executed under PRI grants, and start its execution.
The chairman also sought details about the status of development works and implementation of different welfare schemes in the area.
